Dating “advice” that kills your first date

 I saw the following dating advice on Instagram:

“Be yourself. Don’t try to be like someone else. If she dislikes you, go out with someone who eventually will.”

This reminds me of a salesperson that sucked at his job.

He was extremely aggressive. 

If anyone told him:

“Be yourself, if someone doesn't want to buy from you, then keep going until you find someone who does.”

He’d be broke forever. 

If the current version of you is barely closing the deal in business, you have to change your approach. 

Same applies to dating.

I’m not saying don’t be yourself…

But you need to become the best version of who you are if you’re having bad luck with women right now. 

“So how do I become the best version of myself?”

It’s a matter of avoiding dumb mistakes such as talking too much about “me”...

Or Dressing badly that’s the common one…

Or sexual jokes that are not funny PLUS you don’t know this person. (yet)

If doing the above means “being yourself,” then tone the current version of you down.

These are all extremely annoying habits. 

Work on being less annoying.

And don’t be arrogant. 

Don’t think “be yourself” is some holy grail rule you should never break. 

It’s okay to accept that maybe you’re just not that fun or interesting at the moment.

That’s where improving yourself as a man comes in.

Always work on your personality, social skills, and you as a person. 

Find a way to become “that” guy and women will naturally be attracted to you.
